Building capacities to communicate better
I am working as an Ashwini Centre Operator in Ponamanda village. I have seen lot of people creating various kinds of websites. As the people in my village can understand only Telugu language, I wanted to create a website in Telugu. However, I was unaware of using Telugu in computers.
As part of InDG initiative, there was a training programme for the Ashwini Centre Operators. During the programme, we were trained on "How to enable Telugu in computers and how to type in Telugu". It was then that I learnt how to type in Telugu.
With this newly acquired skill, I tried creating a BlogSpot on my village, in Telugu. Initially, I was very doubtful whether I would be able to create it in Telugu. But once I started the activity, I got enthusiastic about it. I have put a lot of content about my village in Telugu. I have also given a link to the InDG portal in it.
