Find the judgment of the Supreme Court of India

The Judgment Information system (JUDIS) consists of the Judgments of the Supreme Court of India and several High Courts. Judgment can be seen at the website of Judgment Information System (JUDIS). You can retrieved the judgment of the Supreme Court of India in the following manner: 

  • Petitioner/Respondent wise
  • Judge name wise
  • Case number wise
  • Date of judgment wise
  • Constitutional bench wise
  • Alphabetical case indexing wise
  • Held wise
  • Text/phrase wise
  • Act wise etc.

All the above menus are available at the left port let of the website and you can know the judgment after clicking on the respective menu in the following way:

Petitioner/Respondent wise

  • Enter the name of petitioner or respondent
  • Select one option from the drop down box i.e. Don’t know or petitioner or respondent
  • Select the both date (From – To) from drop down box
  • Finally, select the reportable status i.e. Reportable or Non reportable or All, and submit that.

Judge name wise

  • Enter the name of judge
  • Select the both date (From – To) from drop down box
  • Finally, select the reportable status i.e. Reportable or Non reportable or All, and submit that.

Case number wise

  • Select the case type from drop down box
  • Enter the case number
  • Select the year from drop down box
  • Finally, select the reportable status i.e. Reportable or Non reportable or All, and submit that.

Date of judgment wise

  • Select the both date (From – To) from drop down box
  • Finally, select the reportable status i.e. Reportable or Non reportable or All, and submit that.

Constitutional bench wise

  • Select the both date (From – To) from drop down box
  • Finally, select the reportable status i.e. Reportable or Non reportable or All, and submit that.

Alphabetical case indexing wise

  • Enter the name of petitioner or respondent i.e. Amar
  • Select the both date (From – To) from drop down box
  • Finally, select the reportable status i.e. Reportable or Non reportable or All, and submit that.

Also, judgment can be retrieved through held wise, text/phrase wise, act wise and citation wise.
