Moreover every body thinks about Agricultural crop production. But no one tries to understand the basic problems of PRODUCER (FARMER).
The basic problem lies with Marketing of Farm produce. Farmers are not getting the price what exactly it should be. All benefits are going to Middleman or Traders. This factor discauraging some one to produce crop.
So my request to everybody (Individual/Consultancy/Pvt. organisation/Govt. Organisation), when ever there is something for farmer, please try to give farmer a complete package. All Govt scheme should have a clause of Buyback agreement by PSU or Pvt companies.
Today's farmer thinks Farming is a poor man job. Everybody should try to first change the concept with live example.

Shift in cropping pattern will definitely occur as the climatic conditions, resource availability (water in irrigated lands) and agricultural labour scenario is changing. The general pattern noticed is that farmers are shifting to less risky, labour required and to some extent assured market available crop. Horticultural crops especially fruits naturally seem to have a advantage. But the trend is volatile. For ex. the shift in cropping pattern from multiple cropping to cotton to maize in Perambalur district best explains the scenario.
