I am a farmer. I am using kisan credit card. What is the interest rate in SBI for Kisan credit card limit up to 3 lakh.

The following are to be considered while fixing credit limit in KCC
1. operational land holding, cropping pattern and scale of finance.
2. production credit needs for full year plus ancillary activities related to crop production to be considered
For eg. in State Bank of India, 90 % of the cost of cultivation (Scale of Finance) is given as loan per acre. 100 % of the cost is available as loan upto Rs. 50,000/- and 85 % of the cost is available as loan above Rs. 1,00,000/-
The rate of interest is as per RBI norms. In state bank of India
the interest rates are as follows
Credit amount Repayable upto 3 years
upto Rs 50,000 8.5%
Rs50,000 - 2 lakhs 9.5 %
